Art Taipei, formerly known as Taipei Art Fair International, is the longest-standing art fair in Asia, which has been organized by Taiwan Art Gallery Association since 1992. Following the success of the past twenty years, Art Taipei 2014 will return with even more ambitious programs from October 31st to November 3rd, 2014 at Taipei World Trade Center.
Connecting the energetic art scenes and keen collectors from all over the world, the fair has become an important oasis in Asia for viewing exciting works and is regarded as the most experienced and professional platform for trading Chinese and Asian arts.
Richard Koh Fine Art will be presenting recent works by a selected number of Southeast Asian artists that include Natee Utarit (Thailand), Nadiah Bamadhaj (Malaysia, Indonesia), Kedsuda Loogthong (Thailand), Haffendi Anuar (Malaysia) and Yeoh Choo Kuan (Malaysia). For Kedsuda, Haffendi and Choo Kuan, this would the first time the young artists would be exhibiting works in Taiwan. The presentation hopes to give a solid impression on the dynamism of wide-ranging contemporary practices from Southeast Asia as well as the varied interests displayed in the practices.
