Pucuk Cemara (b.2000, Bali, Indonesia) is a Balinese-Javanese Indonesian-born artist and digital illustrator based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Pucuk’s works explore the intricacies of labels, identity and sense of self while taking notes of cultural roots, traditions and its antithesis. The illustrative narrative of their works is often depicted through the use of mythology, animals, figures and body horror in various painting mediums, previously showcased at LASALLE College of the Arts and ArtSG 2023 with Richard Koh Fine Art, among other events.
