Richard Koh Fine Art (RKFA) is pleased to present Malaysian Art, A New Perspective featuring works by Abdul Mohsin Bin Aminuddin, Chuah Shu Ruei, Eiffel Chong, Faizal Yunus, Gan Chin Lee, Haffendi Anuar, Hasanul Isyraf Idris, Hings Lim, Ilham Fadhli Mohd Shaimy, Saiful Razman and Yeoh Choo Kuan at Richard Koh Fine Art, 229 Jalan Maarof, Bukit Bandaraya, Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 6 – 21 September 2016. This group exhibition’s namesake is also first two parts of the series of exhibitions, Malaysian Art, A New Perspective, held in the early 2015 both in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and was curated to frame exciting emerging artistic practices currently developing in Malaysia. The opening reception will be held on the 6th of September (Tues), from 5 – 8 pm.

Malaysian Art, A New Perspective in the spirit of its previous two instalments, will feature 11 artists’ works in an attempt to highlight diverse practices developing in Malaysia in recent years. Each artist will present works in varying formats and medium, ranging from installation, sculptural drawings, a vitrine to paintings. The diverse practices and challenging formats highlight the dynamism and experimental curiosity of emerging artists currently practising in Malaysia.
