In conjunction with Singapore Art Week 2019, The Private Museum opens its gallery for an inaugural showcase of Richard Koh’s private collection which vasts from what he usually sells. The exhibition features 33 contemporary works from international artists from Richard Koh’s collection, spanning more than two decades. It gives viewers an insight into many of his ruminations, personalities and interests, and reflects an exploration of his journey through the world of art and life. Among these 33 works by artists whom Koh admires are Chinese artists from the ‘apartment art’ generation which include Lin Tianmiao and Huang Rui. This showcase also presents works by contemporary Southeast Asian artists Sopheap Pich, Natee Utarit and Kedsua Loogthong.
