Richard Koh Projects (RKP) is pleased to announce its participation in CIMB Artober 2025, showcasing a strong line-up of contemporary Thai artists whose practices reflect diverse narratives of daily life, memory, and cultural identity.
At this year’s edition, RKP will feature works by Kongsak Kampakdee, Natagon Khamkayprong, Pawarest (Doe) Choksaen, and Pik Chaichit, each offering distinct perspectives rooted in Thailand’s evolving artistic landscape.
Together, these artists embody the richness and diversity of contemporary Thai art, navigating themes of memory, identity, and everyday culture with a nuanced visual language.
CIMB Artober 2025 runs throughout October in Kuala Lumpur, presenting a platform for galleries and artists across the region to engage with collectors and audiences through exhibitions, talks, and curated programs.
Kongsak Kampakdee presents a series of acrylic paintings that capture the quiet rhythms of provincial life. His works, such as Campus Garden (2024) and Coffee Truck in the Morning (2024), reflect his sensitivity to fleeting, everyday encounters.
Natagon Khamkayprong unveils an expansive selection of oil paintings that explore solitude, reflection, and atmosphere. Large-scale canvases such as Alone (2025) and Night in the Rainy Season (2024) highlight his contemplative engagement with nature and inner states of being.
Pawarest Choksaen (Doe) brings works like Seafood Vendor (2023) and Happy Candy (2023), where his acrylic paintings vividly depict scenes of community life with warmth and immediacy.
Pik Chaichit examines domesticity and the ordinary through still-life compositions and intimate portrayals. From Luggage Bag (2025) to Gesture of Plastic Bag No.1 (2024), his practice redefines the overlooked fragments of daily existence.
